2021 Best Dressed Terms and conditions

The promoter of the MFAA Excellence Awards (the Awards) is the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) (ACN: 006 085 552).

By entering the competition you consent to agree with these terms and conditions.

Members agree by entering the competition that the winners' names and pictures entered into the Best Dressed Competition can be featured and tagged and/or mentioned on MFAA respective digital channels including but not limited to social media, website, MFAA News.

To enter the competition, you must be a current member of the MFAA.
Any and all costs associated with entering the competition will be the responsibility of the individual entering.
To be considered as a valid entry, State and National Best Dressed entrants are required to have made a publicly visible post on both/either Facebook or LinkedIn during or after the live stream of the relevant excellence awards ceremony for which they wish to enter the Best Dressed competition. Entrants are required to feature a picture of the entrant/s, the entrant's name/s and they are required to feature the hashtag #MFAAawards in the text section of their social media post. The deadline for entries of each Excellence Awards Best Dressed competition is 12pm (AEST), the day following the live stream of each state Excellence Awards.
The MFAA has assigned the competition judges. The judges’ decisions are final.

Best Dressed winners will be announced on the official MFAA Facebook pages at a later date following the completion of each MFAA State and National Excellence Awards 2021 virtual events.


Judging: Scoring Criteria  
Coordinated ensemble: - Points will be awarded on the basis of a maximum of 3 points out of 10.
Originality of presentation: - Points will be awarded on the basis of a maximum of 3 points out of 10.
Best modelling/performance: - Points will be awarded on the basis of a maximum of 4 points out of 10.
The winning entries in group, male and female categories will be the person with the highest total number of points, based on the judges scoring.
Where a number of scoring totals are equal, the judges will make a final choice based on overall appeal.

Prizes
There will be a total of 18 winners comprising of 6 Best Dressed females, 6 Best Dressed males and 6 Best Dressed groups. 

The prize for each winning State Excellence Awards Best Dressed female and male will be a bottle of champagne at an approximate value of $150 AUD per bottle. 

The prize for each winning State Excellence Awards group will be one $100 AUD Mastercard gift card.

The prize for each winning National Excellence Awards Best Dressed female, male and group will be one $500 AUD Mastercard gift card.

Prizes are non-transferable for cash and will be provided to the winning recipients via their provided address upon contact to notify them of their prize. It is the entrant's responsibility to have provided the correct contact details to the MFAA. 

If a winner would like to exchange a prize for an alternative prize, they are required to notify the MFAA when they are contacted announcing their win. Provided the reasons for exchange of prize are deemed reasonable and fair by the MFAA, an alternative prize will be provided.
