Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to participate, speak up, ask questions and engage in conversation. This requires a harassment free and inclusive environment that supports this goal. We invite all those who participate to help us create a safe and positive experience for all attendees.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners and MFAA staff are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity or religion. We therefore do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. 

Behaviour

• You will be respectful and mindful of your surroundings and your fellow attendees.
• You will behave in a way as to create a safe and supportive environment by being respectful and considerate to fellow attendees (including speakers, facilitators, partners and staff).
• You will refrain from engaging in speech or behaviour that is discriminatory, offensive, threatening or harassing. For example, you will not engage in offensive or threatening comments, including but not limited to comments about gender, gender identity, expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity or religion. 
• You will refrain from making inappropriate comments or engaging in inappropriate behaviour (for example advancements or stalking of fellow attendees)
• You will be dressed appropriately.
• Do not make audio or visual recordings of the event in any medium and do not distribute audio or visual recordings of the event. 
• Alert MFAA staff if you notice any violations of this Code of Conduct.
• Participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the MFAA.
