MFAA National Conference competition terms & conditions

1. The promoter of the competition is the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) ABN: 62 006 085 552. Address: Suite 902, Level 9, 130 Pitt St Sydney NSW 2000 Australia.
2. The date of the competition for the MFAA National Professional Development Virtual Event: 
Tuesday 10 May 2022

3. The time of the competition is from 8.00am to 4.30pm (AEST). Points cannot be gained outside of the hours stipulated. 

4. There will be a total of two winners for the MFAA National Conference 2022 - one prize for in-person conference attendees and one prize for virtual conference attendees. Two prizes will be awarded unless otherwise stipulated. The prize for in-person conference attendees is a $2,500 Flight Centre prepaid gift card. The prize for the virtual conference attendee is a $500 Flight Centre prepaid gift cardas specified in the event emails.

5. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

6. To enter the competition, your name and contact details must appear as a registered attendee of the MFAA National Conference 2022 and you must reside in Australia.

7. Only MFAA members may enter the competition. Exhibitors and sponsors (including those that are MFAA members), and non-members and MFAA staff members and the immediate family members of each of these entities are not eligible to enter the competition. 

8a. To qualify for entry into the in-person prize draw, you must earn a minimum of 500 points by completing activities on the MFAA National Conference APP including rating speaker sessions, visiting a stand and having your QR code scanned by an exhibitor and answering questions about the presentations featured on the day, before the draw takes place. For every 500 points earned you will receive one ticket into the draw.

8b. To qualify for entry into the virtual conference attendee prize draw, you must earn a minimum of 500 points by completing activities on the MFAA National Conference virtual platform including visiting a virtual information hub, downloading collateral or watch a video and answering questions about the presentations featured on the day, before the draw takes place. For every 500 points earned you will receive one ticket into the draw.

9. The winner will be selected using the EventsAir platform gamification app. 

10a. The in-person attendee winner will be announced by the Conference MC at approximately 4.30pm (AEDT) at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

10b. The virtual attendee winner will be announced via this page and notified by email on Wednesday 11 May 2022.

11. Winners will be notified via email using the email address provided on registration.

12. The results will be published on this page.

13. Any and all costs associated with entering the competition will be the responsibility of the individual entering.

14. By entering the competition, you agree that the winners’ name can be announced. 

15. The MFAA reserves the right to further publish winner information as it sees fit.

16. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. By entering the competition, you consent to agree with these terms and conditions.
