What’s included in the in-person ticket price?

Your ticket includes access to the conference day with speakers, live expo, food and beverages, networking event and event platform post-conference.

Can I buy a ticket just for the networking event?

No. You must purchase a ticket for the entire day’s program.

Do I get a discount if I bring my team?

No. The price is set at $99 (inc gst) per person which is excellent value for a one-day conference.

What’s the difference between the virtual ticket and the in-person ticket?

Besides meeting your industry colleagues in-person, you will get access to the expo hall and expo theatre and the networking event. For more information, view our comparison table.

I wish to cancel my in-person ticket, will I receive a refund?

All cancellations must be notified in writing to events@mfaa.com.au. No refunds will be given to cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the event date. Should you not be able to attend the event, a substitute delegate is welcome at no additional cost.

I’ve purchased an in-person ticket, can I change my mind and attend virtually?

For those attending in person, access to the virtual event platform will not be provided until after the conference has finished. No refunds will be given to non-attendance. Please review our registration conditions.

How do I access the virtual conference?

Once registered, you will receive an email from us the week of 9 May 2022 with all that you need to access the virtual event platform.

How will I receive my in-person ticket?

Your e-ticket will be emailed to you. Please bring this to the registration desk to collect your name badge for entry. Registration opens at 8.00am.

What is the dress code?

In-person: Business or smart casual attire. Appropriate footwear is required (no thongs please).

Virtual: Wear whatever you like! Just remember that you can still connect with others who are also attending virtually via chat or video. See our event code of conduct.

Are there group rates on surrounding hotels?

What is the timing for the conference?

Registration will open Tuesday 10 May from 8.00am with networking drinks concluding at 7.00pm.

Do i need to be vaccinated to attend the conference?

Yes. As per Victorian Government Open Premises Directions any persons aged 18 years and over must be fully vaccinated to attend events on-site at MCEC. All visitors must prove their vaccination or exemption status to enter MCEC event spaces. For the purposes of contact tracing and vaccination compliance all visitors are required to check-in via the Victorian Government QR code upon entry to the event space. 

Is there a COVID-19 policy?

Yes, we are working with the MCEC to ensure a COVID-safe environment and also consideration of all relevant public health orders.

What happens if the in-person conference is cancelled?

If government restrictions prohibit the face-to-face event from proceeding, the conference will proceed in the virtual format. Delegates attending in-person will be refunded their ticket cost. All other costs including fees are the responsibility of the delegates including accommodation and flights. You may want to consider taking out travel insurance.
