Awards Process

The MFAA is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in its Excellence and Lender Awards.

Member voting determines the Lender Awards, with results independently verified by Hall Chadwick to ensure transparency.

For the Excellence Awards, an independent panel of judges evaluates submissions. Judges are carefully assigned to categories without conflicts of interest to ensure impartiality. Hall Chadwick rigorously audits all results to guarantee fairness, accuracy, and transparency.

The MFAA Excellence Awards set the standard for trust and excellence in the industry, showcasing our unwavering commitment to integrity.

Prepare your submission

Take the time to understand each question and work out what is being asked. Read our tips on writing a winning award submission for guidance. Watch our webinar on how to write a winning award submission. Start early, as submissions take time. Draft your answers in a Word document and review them later to refine your response.

Lodge your submission

It's time to submit your entry. Go to the ‘enter’ page on the website. Select the category you want to submit in. If submitting for the first time, create an account before proceeding.

Judging process

All awards categories are judged by an independent panel with no conflict of interest. Judges in each category rotate annually to maintain fairness and integrity.

Submissions are evaluated via a secure online portal. Judges are unaware of their fellow category judges, ensuring impartiality. The scores are aggregated to calculate the final overall score for each submission.

Audit process

Submissions are checked for eligibility. Hall Chadwick then independently audits the judging process and data, via a secure access, to ensure accuracy and integrity.

After completing the verification process, Hall Chadwick sends the validated scores back to MFAA.
